Sleep Onset Rapid Eye Movement Sleep Period – SOREMP

Sleep onset rapid eye movement sleep period (SOREMP) is the REM sleep period that occurs during sleep onset or in the first 10 minutes. In normal sleep, the first REM stage occurs later. The presence of SOREMP in a person may indicate narcolepsy.
