NREM parasomnias are unusual behaviors that people experience during the NREM sleep phase. Most commonly, they occur during stage 3 sleep. Some examples of such parasomnias are sleepwalking, sleep terrors, and sleep-related sexual behaviors. People who exhibit such behavior during NREM sleep are unaware of their actions.
