Sleep Stage NREM

Home Sleep Stage NREM
Sleep stage NREM is one of the two primary sleep stages along with REM. Unlike REM, NREM is divided into three sub-phases (N1, N2, and N3), and the brain activity in these phases is generally lower than REM. In a healthy person, sleep typically begins in the NREM phase. NREM phase typically accounts for 75-80% of sleep.
