Duration Criteria

Home Duration Criteria
Diseases are classified according to the time elapsed from their onset period. This classification is commonly done as acute, subacute, chronic. If there are complaints that span an extended period of time, the disease is called chronic; however, it's called acute disease with a very new onset. Conditions between the two are called subacute disease. These duration criteria cutoff values differ for each disease.
